SE4 Release Candidate 2

The second release candidate of SocialEngine 4 (RC2) is now available for download from the client area. We’ve addressed many of the reported issues and recommend installing or upgrading from RC1. Note that when upgrading from RC1, you can now use the package manager to upgrade your source code the same way you would with plugins. For more information see the included readme file. As always, please send us your feedback so we can continue improving SocialEngine.

I have done another clean install RC2. Keep the fixes coming. A version fix log would be good and maybe known issues..

    Hi Guys

the install process for RC2 is great, and the system feels more responsive, will there be a way of haveing better urls for the forums such as forum.php/topic-title?

and will there be a way or changing the signup process, to just take username and password without showing the first name and lastname fields?

looking forward to the final release

    steve

Great work! I agree with John. You should provide a migration tool for the old sites to be converted to the new ones. Thanks for your hard work though.
