I think there is one issue with the FB/ Twitter login..

If you login in regularly, you can Tweet, but you cannot post to FB.

If you login with FB, you can post to both FB and Twitter.

If an account is linked to Twitter and FB, and if a user logs in via the regular method, should the user not be able to post to both FB and Twitter?

    Just curious..

Fix the core and STOP adding more features …..

:::::::::: Social Engine APC API :::::::::: "Funny thing is APC was installed, I just had to enable 2 settings, and FIX a BUG within Social-Engines library APC.php file, so Weblingo SHOULD HAVE been able to fix this no problem." … Another $100 to fix Social Engine's ERRORS.

:::::::::: Social Engine Payment API ::::::::: "We tested several times it seems the payment module is NOT WORKING, before going further with our testing, please ask Social Engine if this is a known bugs.

Update: We checked this bugs from other customers It’s confirmed that the SE416p3 Paypal Payment module has bugs. Ask social engine if they could fix this bugs, another option is we could do the fixing but there is a fee."

:::::::::: Social Engine Facebook API :::::: Have you possibly upgraded to SE V4.1.6? Social Engine's 4.1.6 has a problem with Facebook library. Please copy and overwrite from version 4.1.5 the file applicationlibrariesFacebookApi.php

I'm still on 4.14 so if any of these have changed in a more recent version I apologize, but here's what I feel is needed:

SE3 seemed to have a bit more features in this regard, since we could ban email addresses in addition to IP's. It would be great to be able to ban an entire range of IP's easily via the Admin panel, so we can keep out most of the Chinese/Russian spambots that come through

I just had a spammer sign-up and post a bunch of junky links in our forum threads. After deleting this users account and banning their IP address, I still had to manually click through the 10 threads they spammed and delete each of their posts individually.

A "clean & remove" feature where we can one-click ban a user AND wipe out any content they've created would be a great feature.

We can restrict the number of impressions at the top level (i.e. the 125×125 block) but it would be more useful to be able to set these restrictions at the individual ad level.

That way we can sell an ad to Company A that goes into Ad Block 1 that has 100,000 impressions purchased. And another to Company B, also in Ad Block 1, that has 25,000 views, etc.

What's great about SE is that we can have a Facebook with features Facebook doesn't have in place (such as forums).

We love our forum because it permits us to have a lot of additional content picked up by Google.

But we really need some features present in even free forum software. The biggest feature we're requesting is a better method of informing users of new/unread posts.

Right now there's an icon that changes in the forum to reflect read/unread. But if you have 10 forum sections, the only way members can see all unread threads is to click through to 10 different sections to do so.

This extra work discourages people from using the forum, killing our engagement.

A simple link in the forum for "new/unread posts" where our members can view the content from multiple forum sections all on one page would go a long way towards solving this.
