    Any chance the forums will include emoticon support (i.e. come with a standard set and allow us to customize by adding our own?) I'm on 4.14 so if this has changed in a newer version let me know.

    But my site members would greatly appreciate this simple functionality!

    @Anthony That's a great idea! I have added it to our list of feature requests for a future version.

    @Arsenii Your mysql configuration may need to be adjusted. The interactive_timeout and wait_timeouts are set to 8 hours by default, which can cause stale connections to persist longer than they need to. You'll need to ask your hosting provider to update the my.cnf file on the server and lower the these variables. 30 – 60 seconds should be more than enough

    @Victor Please submit a ticket so out support team can take a look. We would need to review your installation in order to determine the problem.

    @Victor You looks infected with with virus or worm and maybe your .htaccess file is hacked if you are on shared hosting you need to better move to dedicated stuff otherwise this problem will remain the same.

    @Mohammed in Core_Bootstrap line 306, try changing this:

    $logAdapter = $db->select()
    ->from('engine4_core_settings', 'value')
    ->where('`name` = ?', 'core.log.adapter')
    ->query()
    ->fetchColumn();

    to this:

    $logAdapter = 'file';

    I uploaded the files for 4.1.7 in Packages and Plugins. I see all of the components uploaded, but when I click on continue, the process just stalls. Also, the "Requirement and Dependency Check" also now stalls.

    Why is this happening? It was never an issue before.

    Waiting for your solutions. Thanks.

    Every since I upgraded to the 4.1.7 I can no loger send messages to all my members, and If a member forgets his password the reset password never gets sent out?

    I went to the package manager / system requirements

    and there are 3 yellow sections and the rest are green. the yellow are:

    Settings Directory Permissions: Please log in over FTP and set CHMOD 0777 (recursive) on the application/settings/ directory

    Language Directory Permissions: Please log in over FTP and set CHMOD 0777 (recursive) on the application/languages/ directory

    SSH2: The SSH2 extension is required for CDNs that use SSH or SCP.

    Do any of these have to do with the problems that are occuring with my mail sending?
