Upcoming New Theme: Clean

This blog post is to showcase some screenshots of our upcoming new theme – made by one of our founders and original front-end designer, Alex. The theme color is inspired by Google Plus simple, but elegant “Black, Grey, and White” style design. The theme is very “Clean,” thus we are calling it “Clean” and making it our official default theme! This new theme will be releasing with the next version of SocialEngine.

You guys have 6 days to release 4.1.9 before you break your new '2 month development cycle', even with two new members to the team. Might I suggest you try go beyond the standard SE design and follow suit to some of your 3rd party developers.

Looks very basic and I understand its meant to be that way "clean" but we could of changed one of the other SE templates to look like this.

I would like to see some stunning graphical themes. And btw I am not a designer or developer but do understand a lot of work goes into these so not trying to sound unappreciative :)

When do we get a SEConnect feature? You know, similar to FacebookConnect, or Twitter, or Google+, etc.? I think that's the way things are moving these days, there is no better way to push your branding than giving other sites and developers a way to connect to your site.

Or even better, why not a SE App Framework (container)? We have to branch out if we want to stay afloat my friends.

The problem is always the same with all themes. The icons!! They do not match the style of themes ! They are hugly and so PCs! Add an option to remove all the icons in preferences. All the designers will appreciate !!!
