Keep in mind cometchat has issues with other plugins in SE, and with the new update for 4.3p1 there are even more issues where arrowchat does not affect other plugins. This has been a big issue since 3.0 in their java implementation. One example is it causes the CSS to break on certain Weblingo ( yes SE created ) plugins such as Music player, and on profiles as well for it to break out. If you have 3rd party widgets that utilize java they will not function correctly if you send data through them. Hopefully in the future CometChat will sit down and look over the SE source like arrow does.

I understand that programming for multiple sites takes a bit but its more than just changing the integration method, you have to plan and work w/ other developers to make sure that the user has the best experience and not faced with having to give up 1 plugin for another when they can’t get a refund anyways.
