Responsive and Legacy themes

We have some very exciting news. On February 12th we will be releasing brand new fully responsive themes for SocialEngine Cloud! We have been working very hard to bring responsive themes to you and we are very proud of the final product. We think you’re going to love them.

For everyone who currently has customized their SocialEngine Cloud theme, the customization will need to be re-written for the new responsive themes. If no action is taken after the responsive themes are put in place you may run into issues with your theme. Because of this we are providing the necessary steps to keep your legacy theme. If you would like to keep using legacy themes while you are re-writing for the responsive themes or for any other reason, please follow the steps laid out HERE.

Talk to you all soon!

Do you plan providing SE Cloud accounts for developers? So we can host demos for themes and develop new themes.

The version we have is 4.2.0 of the Clean theme. Is that responsive as well? If so, it’s not working for us. Is there anything specific in the .css files that we should look for that tells us it’s responsive?

Sorry, there must’ve been some confusion as both PHP and Cloud have themes named “Clean”. I meant the Cloud version of the theme is fully responsive.

We are currently not focusing on updating PHP themes to be responsive, but there is a handful of 3rd party themes that are, perhaps you could find the one you like among them.
